Fireworks will light up the sky over Navarre Beach Saturday night, putting the exclamation point on what promises to be a busy Fourth of July weekend.
Santa Rosa County Tourism Development Director Julie Morgan said lodging is full and she expects a large crowd over the weekend, providing another boost to local tourism.
“We expect a huge turnout and we are happy we can provide tourists and the local people as well a great experience,” Morgan said.
The county’s Tourism Development Office has provided 75 percent of the funding for the fireworks show, which will begin at 9 p.m. Saturday at the Navarre Beach Marine Park.
