Jacksonville Jaguars linebacker LaRoy Reynolds was at Holley-Navarre Middle School Wednesday meeting with students and talking about leading healthy lifestyles. HNMS is involved with Fuel Up to Play 60, which is an in-school nutrition and physical activity program launched by National Dairy Council (NDC) and National Football League (NFL). Reynolds is currently in Gulf Breeze doing off-season training at the Andrews Institute in Gulf Breeze and visited the school to give students a pep talk before the FCAT next week.
“Going into the NFL I was extremely scared,” Reynolds said. “Next week when you are taking the FCAT, conquer your fears and you can conquer the test. Nothing can hold you back. Since I was a little kid I knew I wanted to play football professionally. Whatever you want to do, set yourself up for success. Don’t let yourself be distracted by fear.”
