For the seventh year, donations of food collected by letter carriers in Gulf Breeze are benefiting ACTS Ministry from the Harbor at Holley Church. The national “Stamp Out Hunger” food drive, held May 10, is in its 22nd year.
Volunteers, including Navarre High School students, helped sort donated items, and then loaded them into a truck to be taken to the food pantry on Highway 87 in Holley.
“We receive donations from church members and the community too, but the food pantry would be virtually non-existent without the letter carrier donations,” said ACTS Ministry volunteer director Colleen Tonning.
