Ray White has no problem brainstorming an idea and making it a reality. When he first mentioned organizing a march in honor of first responders, the response of positive, he decided to run with it.
Less than two weeks later, he was leading the charge of nearly 50 supporters as they marched along Highway 98 from Helen Back to Navarre Park.
With signs showing that they’re behind law enforcement, the group stopped along 98 to spread the message to passersby. Drivers responded with waves and car horns.
Once they entered the park, members of the Blue Knights and the American Legion Riders pulled into the lot and joined the ceremony, bringing the attendance rate to about 100.
