The Holley-Navarre Fire District Board of Commissioners voted March 24 to make an offer on 3.5 acres of land in Holley near the intersection of Highway 87 and Bob Tolbert Road. The district has been researching property in Holley as a potential site for a fire station.
The board directed Fire Chief Ron Norton to work with local realtor Mike Simpson to make the offer. “I’m sure the property owner will counteroffer, but this gets the process started,” Simpson said.
