A fun-loving crowd filled a huge portable tent at The Club at Hidden Creek July 26 to enjoy country music, country folks and to support area charities. PGA Tour pro Boo Weekley’s annual charity golf outing, BooFest, generates funds that are donated to nearly 20 charities including the Air Commandos Association, Fisher House Foundation, Navarre High School golf team and Milton High School athletics.
Larry the Cable Guy and Santa Rosa County Commissioner Jayer Williamson took the stage together Saturday, so Larry could draw the winning ticket in a fundraiser that netted more than $2,200 for Santa Rosa Kids’ House. Williamson is a member of the kids’ house board of directors.
