According to the National Weather Service in Mobile, two cold fronts are heading our way this week.
The first cold front will arrive Tuesday evening bringing moderate rain amounts Tuesday evening into Wednesday.
“Behind that is a significant cold front and winds will shift out of the north with winds up to 15 mph and gusts to 20 mph,” meteorologist Davel Johnson said.
“Temperatures should drop to at least the low 50s in the early morning Wednesday and by Thursday morning, temperatures should be reaching down to the low 40s or upper 30s,” Johnson said.
We may see a lighter rain Wednesday and more Thursday when a secondary cold front moves through. The front will push temperatures even further down to the lower 40s along the coast and low 30s inland. The maximum temperatures will be in the mid-50s.
