Navarre residents left behind a cold, rainy night when they stepped into the warm pink and purple glowing sanctuary at Navarre First Assembly of God Feb. 4. The sanctuary had been transformed and looked much different than it does during Sunday worship.
Instead, those streaming in from the dreary weather were treated to a bright, cheerful and active performance by the Watoto Children’s Choir. More than a dozen children, all once orphaned in Africa, sang and danced on stage while sharing their story with about 300 locals.
