Though her time here was short, Fonda Wetherell made a lasting impact on the children of Navarre as one of the founders of the Panhandle Butterfly House (PBH). She passed away June 22 in Iowa.
As a volunteer and lover of gardening and butterflies, Wetherell helped shape this icon of Navarre in the early years after its opening in 1996.
