After years of do-it-yourself work and thousands of dollars in construction materials, Apostolic Lighthouse Church of Navarre is putting the final touches on their new sanctuary.
Volunteers with the church began laying the last of the carpeting last week and services are expected to begin in the new building in as early as two weeks.
Sister Laura Kallam, wife of Pastor Nathaniel Kallam, said they will be moving in soon, but there is still a lot of work to be done.
“It won’t be finished,” she said. “We still have to pave the parking lot and things like that. It’s been a lot of work.”
