Air Force Cross honors dual bravery

Throughout its history the Air Force Cross has been a symbol to honor those in service who went above and beyond in the face of deadly danger. It honors those that took the motto “first there… that others may live” to heart.

Never before have two crosses been awarded in the same ceremony, but Thursday that changed at Hurlburt Field as U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff General David Goldfein presented two of the country’s finest, Technical Sergeant Keary J. Miller and Staff Sergeant Christopher G. Baradat, with the U.S. Air Force’s highest honor.
