Fueled by continued frustration over congestion on U.S. Highway 98, the Santa Rosa County Commission took a step forward Monday toward creating an alternative route.
The board approved a feasibility study on the possible construction of a Navarre Community Access Road north of U.S. Highway 98 between Edgewood Drive and Whispering Pines Boulevard. A joint participation agreement for $500,000 has been secured between the county and the Florida Department of Transportation.
