A Holley resident and Hurlburt Field Intelligence Squadron member Douglas J. Plate, 53, was arraigned in Pensacola on March 17 after a federal grand jury returned an indictment charging him with receipt, possession, and access with intent to view child pornography.
The indictment alleges that between August 2014 and December 2015, Plate knowingly received, possessed and accessed child pornography at his home computer and then between June and December 2015 he accessed child pornography at his work computer on Hurlburt Field.
The pornography accessed is said to have involved a prepubescent minor and a minor who had not attained 12 years of age.
Plate’s trial is slated for May 9, 2016.
