Breast cancer is rare in women under 40. Only about 0.4% of women in their 30s will develop the disease according to the National Cancer Institute.
But as Crystal Ji of Navarre will tell you, cancer does not discriminate. At the age of 31 she was handed the diagnosis no woman ever wants to hear. She felt alone, but now she’s taking steps to make sure other young women don’t feel so isolated.
