The spacious, open-air deck seating gives guests the ultimate Gulf side experience.
Windjammers on the Pier has a full bar featuring beer, wine and liquor and includes a wide selection of tropical and frozen drinks. The newest addition to the drink menu is a collection of local craft beers. These beers are brewed locally in Gulf Coast zip codes.
“Not only is it the right thing to do to shop local and use regional vendors, it’s the easy thing to do when we have so many talented brewers in the area,” owner Ken Fountain said.
The two main local breweries that they use are Destin Brewery and 3rd Planet Brewing in Niceville. Windjammers always has Destin Ale and Destin East Pass IPA on tap. From 3rd Planet Brewing, they serve Bluewater Hefeweizen, Boggy Bayou Milk Stout, and Dank Side of the Moon IPA.
Windjammers supports all regions of Florida, carrying Boynton Beach Category 3 IPA and Coastline Lager from Due South Brewery located in South Florida, as well as Hooter Brown on tap from Oyster City Brewing in Apalachicola.
Windjammers serves fresh fish daily specials along with many beach favorites. Their Caribbean Island Prep has a lime and coconut flavor with a touch of heat.
They smoke their own pork for pulled pork sandwiches topped with coconut Caribbean slaw. Windjammers also has gourmet burgers with Angus, chuck and short rib mix cooked to perfection.
Windjammers on the Pier offers a special called “Cook Your Catch.” You catch the fish and bring it to the restaurant, then Windjammers cleans the fish up and cooks it to your liking. The special is served grilled, fried, or Caribbean prep with two sides for just $12!
Located right on Navarre Beach, Windjammers has special events throughout the week to get locals and tourists excited.
On Mondays, artists from the area rotate to provide an opportunity for local talent to be showcased.
Tuesday is Trivia Tuesday starting at 5:30 p.m. Windjammers even offers a 10% discount on food to locals on Tactical Tuesday.
Come sing your favorite song at karaoke on Wednesday nights with DJ Grizzle, stating at 5 p.m.
“DJ Grizzle makes it fun for pro and the novice, for the tourist, the local and the kids. There’s a place for everyone,” Fountain said.
Every Friday and Saturday, local reggae/rock/indie songwriter Shaggy J sings as the sun sets.
On Sunday afternoons, BT Turner sings and plays beach music to the crowd, providing fun family entertainment.
When you are finished eating, don’t forget to check out the pier gift shop, located right next door. It is loaded with customized Navarre apparel and all different kinds of tackle.
They open the pier at 5 a.m. and the bar at 10 a.m. The restaurant opens at 11 a.m. and all three close at 11 p.m.
