As most businesses have struggled to keep their doors open during this pandemic, Little Caesars in Navarre has not only been able to stay open but to thrive serving “hot and ready” pizzas daily.
The fast and friendly pizza franchise, located at 8162 Navarre Pkwy, is constantly updating their store to keep up with the times that we are living in.
Little Caesars in Navarre recently added a second Pizza Portal their lobby to increase their demand and efficiency. A game changer in the pizza industry, the Pizza Portal is a self-service mobile pizza pickup station that allows customers to completely skip the counter. And now Little Caesars has two of them, together able to display 14 heated pizzas at once for customers to pick up at their own convenience.
Here’s how the Pizza Portal process works.
First, customers go to www.littlecaesars.com or download the mobile app to their smartphone and place their order online. Then, in a few short moments when the customer arrives at the store, they can either scan their phone or enter a 3-digit code at the portal to pick up their order. It’s simple!
Owner Brian Wood said that adding the second portal allows customers to access the pizza that they want, not just the Hot N Ready pepperoni and cheese pizzas.
“It allows them the convenience to get the Ultimate Supreme they want or get the Five Meat pizza that they want, when they want it and not have to necessarily wait in the lobby to get it,” Wood said. “I think the second portal is a capital investment in an age that almost demands it.”
On Aug. 21, this veteran-owned franchise will be celebrating their first anniversary, and they are loving this new journey. Little Caesars, in a way, was designed for this contactless type of environment that COVID-19 has shaped the world into.
“The combination of delivery, carryout, call ahead, Pizza Portal, those really helped keep us open,” Wood said. “In this new age that we’re in now where everybody is trying to navigate this COVID thing, having those options are really important to customers.”
Little Caesars is known for their grab-it-and-go options. They can get consumers in and out quickly, and they also can accommodate curbside delivery for those that don’t want to come in or for people with limited mobility.
Even delivery is contactless when you order from Little Caesars. The delivery driver will ring the doorbell and leave the pizza on the porch to limit people-to-people contact.
Customer satisfaction is very important to this restaurant, and that is why they really go the extra mile for their customers. They want their customer’s experience to be world class.
Wood said the secret to the success is having convenience and efficiency in place for your customers.
“I think our customers appreciate that. They know they can get a fresh, hot meal for $5,” he said. “Our goal is to get customers in and out very quickly and keep our Hot N Ready promise.”
