The Navarre community is reeling over the unknown whereabouts and condition of Cooper, the dog that has been on the run since April. Since his great escape, the Navarre community has united in feeding Cooper and passing along his whereabouts, even creating a Facebook page dedicated to him called ‘Catch Cooper.’ Residents have taken photos over the months and posted them on the page so Cooper can be fed and monitored, and so his owners can know he is still OK.
Cooper’s story began in April, when he was adopted by the McCoy family from the Panhandle Animal Welfare Society after having been on the run for a year.
