Navarre native and avid fisherman Almus Taylor died the morning of Nov. 17 in the Covington County Jail from what investigators are calling traffic accident related injuries.
“Almus was a cut up and always the life of the party,” said longtime friend Bart Pullum. “He was the center of attention and was always fun to be around.”
Official reports from the Alabama Department of Public Safety state that Taylor was inside his vehicle when Alabama State Troopers responded to a “possible crash” call Saturday night.
