It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown has become a staple of fall tradition for families throughout the country, and this year the iconic movie turns 50 years old.
To celebrate the anniversary, the Sweet Season Farms Corn Maze and Fall Fun Festival transformed their 8 acre corn field maze into a Charlie Brown themed adventure.
The maze is part of a larger festival featuring horse rides, corn cannons, petting zoos, games, a pumpkin patch and more.
Owner of Sweet Season Farms Trent Mathews said his family started the event in 2008 with 5 acres to continue their farming tradition.
“My family has farmed here for over 100 years, and we wanted to try become part of the farm…and just sort of raise our kids here on the farm,” he said. “This seemed like a perfect fit to do an agrotourism event. It took off, and we have grown from there.”
