REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PROJECTS TO BE CONSIDERED FOR INCLUSION IN THE RESTORE ACT MULTI-YEAR IMPLEMENTATION PLAN
Notice is hereby given that The Santa Rosa County Local RESTORE Council (LRC), on behalf of the Board of County Commissioners of Santa Rosa County, Florida, is soliciting proposals for projects to be included in the RESTORE Multi-Year Implementation Plan (MYIP) which will be submitted to the U. S. Treasury Department for Direct Component Funding under the RESTORE Act. Proposals will be accepted beginning January 12, 2015 and must be received no later than 4:00 pm, March 13, 2015. If you have multiple projects, please submit one proposal for each project.
The complete Request for Proposals, with submittal criteria, guidance, and milestones, is available at the Santa Rosa County RESTORE web page, located at http://www.santarosa.fl.gov/bocc/restore.cfm. All applicants must meet OMB guidelines as indicated in 31 C.F.R.§§ 200.330 through 200.332, or work through an entity that is qualified to receive Federal grant monies.
The preferred method for submittal is to upload the completed proposal in pdf format to the Santa Rosa County RESTORE web site at http://www.santarosa.fl.gov/bocc/restore.cfm. If you are unable to upload the document, mail or deliver to Sheila Harris at 6495 Caroline Street, Suite H, Milton, Florida 32570. Proposals will be accepted beginning January 12, 2015 and must be received no later than 4:00 pm, March 13, 2015. If you have multiple projects, please submit one proposal for each project.
There will be a pre-application workshop for interested parties during the regularly scheduled Local RESTORE Council meeting on February 9, 2015, and proposers and other interested parties are welcome to attend and ask questions about the proposal process.

Project selection shall be made based on the criteria in the U.S. Department of the Treasury RESTORE Act Direct Component Guidance and Application to Receive Federal Financial Assistance and the criteria developed and approved by the Santa Rosa County Local RESTORE Council and the Board of County Commissioners. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals in whole or in part and to waive all informalities and to select the projects that it determines to be in the best interest of Santa Rosa County.
Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners invites all interested and eligible parties to propose projects for consideration for the MYIP. The Board does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, national origin, ethnicity, disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, age or any other characteristic protected by applicable law in the selection of projects.
