A man suspected in three homicides, including two in Santa Rosa County, is being held without bond in the Bay County Jail. According to court records, 41-year-old Derrick Ray Thompson was in court July 23 for his initial appearance before Judge Joe Grammer.
Thompson is scheduled to be arraigned Aug. 19 in Bay County on first degree murder charge.
Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s investigators have named Thompson a “person of interest” in the double homicide of 60-year-old Steven Zackowski and 59-year-old Debra Zackowski of Milton.
