A Pensacola man is being held on $75,000 bond after police found child pornography files on his computer.
Fredrick Lamar Collins Jr., 30, was arrested July 30 on five counts of obscene material, possession of photographs depicting child sexual conduct.
Florida Department of Law Enforcement agents, along with Escambia County Sheriff’s Office deputies, executed a search warrant July 30 at 6501 Highway 98, Apt 506, Pensacola. The investigation began in May after agents determined that a computer located at Collins’ residence was sharing files containing child pornography on the Internet. Multiple files containing child pornography were located on a personal computer belonging to him.
He was booked into the Escambia County Jail with bond set at $75,000. The investigation will be prosecuted by the Office of the State Attorney, First Judicial Circuit.
