YELLOW RIVER BRIDGE UTILITY HANGER RELOCATION

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

Sealed Bids for the construction of the YELLOW RIVER BRIDGE UTILITY HANGER RELOCATION will be received by Fairpoint Regional Utility System, Inc. at the office of the Holley-Navarre Water System, Inc., until 2:00 P.M. local time on Thursday, March 7, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be opened. The Project consists of the installation of four (4) new pipe hangers including temporary pipe supports, removing and replacing portions of the existing concrete traffic barriers followed by removal of the existing pipe hangers as shown on the drawings.

Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum price basis as indicated in the Bid Proposal.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Baskerville-Donovan, Inc., 449 West Main Street, Pensacola, Florida 32502. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding Documents also may be examined at Holley-Navarre Water System, Inc. 8574 Turkey Bluff Road, Navarre, Florida 32566; on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available on compact disc (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $50.00, including shipping via overnight express service. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, compact discs will be sent via the prospective Bidder’s delivery method of choice. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:00 AM local time on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at the Holley-Navarre Water System, 8574 Turkey Bluff Rd., Navarre, FL 32566. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not mandatory.

Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
