Notice is hereby is hereby given that the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners is calling for and requesting proposals for the retrofitting of fluorescent and incandescent lighting bulbs with Light Emitting Diode (LED) bulbs within the South Santa Rosa County Service Center located at 5841 Gulf Breeze Parkway, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563. The existing fixtures within this building are predominately fluorescent. The County is interested in retrofitting these fixtures with light emitting diode bulbs. Vendors are encouraged to present what they believe to be the best plan for conversion of interior lighting for this facility to light emitting diode bulbs.
Proposals should include the following information:
• Total cost of bulb replacement (List of fixture inventory shall be included).
• List of additional bulbs, if any, to be provided in initial package.
• Total installation cost.
• Estimate of rebate incentives.
• Estimate of energy savings including reduction in HVAC, bulb replacement costs and energy.
• Estimated payback in months.
• Estimated payback in lifespan of bulbs.
• Warranty, guaranty, and bonding information for firm and bulbs; and commitments for all equipment, including but not limited to bulbs, drivers, and jumpers.
• Manufacture and origin of bulbs and other equipment.
• List of similar jobs completed and contact information for each.
Santa Rosa County shall have the right to negotiate with such submitter deemed to be in the best interest of Santa Rosa County. The agreement shall be as drafted by Santa Rosa County and shall comply with all applicable regulations. All proposals must be in writing and delivered by hand or Fed Ex to the Santa Rosa County Procurement Department, 6495 Caroline Street Suite G, Milton, Florida, 32570; and must be received by 10:00 a.m., December 3, 2013. All proposals shall be sealed and clearly labeled, “RFP- Lighting Replacement”. Please provide one original, eleven (11) copies of the proposal, and one (1) CD/thumb drive with all of the above information included,(each document must be in an individual PDF format file). The proposal will be publicly opened at this time. Only proposals received by the aforestated time and date will be considered. Proposals received after the time set for opening will be rejected and returned to the submitter.
