NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

WHEREAS, ANDREW SPADY and KATHY SPADY, Husband and Wife, have petitioned to vacate, abandon, discontinue and renounce any interest and right of the public in and to the following described property, to-wit:

A proposed vacated 2.5 foot wide pedestrian easement lying within the southerly 2.5 feet of Lot 11, Bahia Badar, from the westerly right of way line of Bahia Drive (60’ R/W), westerly to the east side of a 5.0 foot wide pedestrian easement as reflected on the face of the record plat of aforesaid Lot 11, Bahia Badar, according to the plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 9, at Page 13 (Escambia County), and recorded in Plat Book F, Page 40, of the public records of Santa Rosa County, Florida.  This proposed vacation is being requested for the use of new home construction at 1421 Bahia Drive, Navarre, Florida.

AND WHEREAS, a time and date have been established for a public hearing for the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners to consider the advisability of exercising its authority pursuant to Chapter 336 of the general statutes to vacate, abandon, discontinue, renounce and disclaim any right or interest of the public in and to the above described property.

NOW, THEREFORE, all interested persons and the public generally are directed that a public hearing upon the above-mentioned Petition, shall be held by the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners at the Tiger Point Community Center, Tiger Point Community Center, 1370 Tiger Park Lane, Gulf Breeze, Florida, on Thursday, May 11, 2017, at the hour of 9:30 a.m. Central Time, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be considered.

All interested parties should take notice that if they decide to appeal any decision made by the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners with respect to any matter coming before said Board at said meeting, it is their individual responsibility to insure that a record of proceedings they are appealing exists and for such purpose they will need to insure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record shall include the testimony and the evidence upon which their appeal is to be based. Interested parties may appear at the meeting and be heard with respect to this matter.
