ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of CONTRACT 2 – FAIRPOINT WELL 7 AND TREATMENT FACILITY and CONTRACT 3 – FAIRPOINT TRANSMISSION MAIN will be received by Fairpoint Regional Utility System, Inc. at the office of the Holley-Navarre Water System, Inc., 8754 Turkey Bluff Rd, Navarre, Florida, until 2:00 P.M. local time on March 19, 2019 at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. The Project consists of three contracts of which Contracts 2 and 3 are ready for bids:
Contract 2 – construct one 800 gpm potable water well and associated pumping and treatment facility on a site in Santa Rosa County owned by Fairpoint Regional Utility System.
Contract 3 – constructing approximately 12,815 LF of 12” PVC transmission main, valves, fire hydrants, fittings and appurtenance complete and operational.
Bidders may submit bids on a single contract or both contracts. Bids shall be based on unit items in the Bid Form.

Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 9:00 AM and 4:00 PM, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available on compact disc (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $50.00, including shipping via overnight express service. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 2:00 PM local time on March 5, 2019 at the Holley-Navarre Water System, Inc., 8574 Turkey Bluff Road, Navarre, Florida 32566. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is not mandatory.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
