Navarre teen accused of sexual assault at house party

A 17-year-old Navarre High School student was arrested after being accused of sexual assault at his house party that took place March 1 on Raider Lane, according to a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Bryant Watson’s mother, Chrisheyl Watson, 40, was arrested April 3 for allegedly providing alcohol for the teen and his friends at the party.

According to the arrest report, the victim of the assault told investigators that they arranged for Bryant’s mother to provide the alcohol for the party. The arrest reports said Wal-Mart surveillance video obtained showed Chrisheyl purchasing the alcohol.

Bryant was booked into the Escambia Regional Juvenile Detention Center in Pensacola March 24 and Chrisheyl was arrested April 3 and released from the Santa Rosa County Jail on a $9,500 bond.
