Now that school has started why not take the time to not only empower your kiddos but also ensure they’re getting great nutrition? Building lunches for kids isn’t as complicated as it seems. And helping them learn to do it themselves is a bit of a time investment for you, but it will pay dividends in the future.
I like to think of the lunches we make for school healthy versions of Lunchables. In your typical Lunchable you have cheese, meat, crackers and cookies. Fat, protein, carb, carb. For a healthier homemade version we would want to switch those building blocks .
