Grady Kelly has a knack for making good impressions at combines. Navarre’s standout junior defensive lineman was at it again at the World Bowl National Combine in Orlando at the end of last month, holding his own against some of the best football players in the country.
He just didn’t hold his own either. He held a trophy at the end of it, coming through with DL MVP honors.
“To be able to walk away with MVP and show out the way I did, it’s definitely a cool feeling,” Kelly said.
Across the line at the combine was teammate Elijah Melendez, who came out of the combine feeling good about himself as well.
Perhaps his most noteworthy moment from the event was holding his own in a head-to-head battle with DL Elijah Jeudy, a four-star defensive end out of Pennsylvania who already has 33 offers to his name.
