Administrators and contractors constructing a two-story school just off Edgewood Drive are going to have to break the habit of calling it the “Elkhart K-8.” The building is finally taking the shape of a school and has officially been named East Bay K-8 School.
Assistant Superintendent Joey Harrell said breaking the habit of calling it Elkhart will be tricky. He gave the project the nickname based on the street it borders more than two years ago.
