More than 100 members of the Home Builders Association of West Florida, mostly clad in red shirts, packed into the County Commissioners board room Monday. The parking lot of the building was full of vehicles from building contractors.
The gathered builders, electricians, engineers, construction workers and small business owners called for commissioners to refuse attempts to reinstitute impact fees on new construction and opposed calls for a moratorium on building in the county.
