At 3:15 last Wednesday afternoon, Thalia Garcia was an 18-year-old teen driving home from a job interview.
Moments later, she was trapped in her mom’s Toyota Corolla as it rolled over on U.S. Highway 98. The driver who hit her fled the scene.
“I was just regularly driving and all of the sudden I hear a bang and the car is moving in all these directions,” said the Navarre teen. “I was about five minutes from my house. It was scary. I was conscious the whole time.”
