With fall temperatures and flu season looming, parents might find now the perfect time to review their child sickness strategy.
Dr. Kacey Gibson, who practices Family Medicine in the Tiger Point Baptist Medical Group office, is also a mother of two small boys herself. She says one big warning sign comes when a child does not want to play.
“This sounds very simple, but it is also a very useful clue. I have seen children with 103 fever dancing around a room and other children with a 100.5 lying around not wanting to move. The child lying around is always more concerning to me,” she said.
