Any given day Shawna Garito gets a photo of a wound sent to her by her friends. In-grown hairs, abrasions and other less-than-appealing images sent to her, typically with questions about what to do next.
But Garito doesn’t mind.
“I like wounds because I like seeing them get better. I like seeing how coordinating the right factors–nutrition, blood sugar and other healing factors, heals them quickly,” she said.
