Florida Gov. Rick Scott signed legislation June 16 that provides for the use of Charlotte’s Web, a low-THC cannabis to treat certain illnesses such as epilepsy in children.
State Rep. Matt Gaetz introduced the legislation and championed its passage along with RayAnn Moseley and her parents from Gulf Breeze. RayAnn’s parents believe Charlotte’s Web can reduce their daughter’s seizures and improve her quality of life.
