Three men were arrested last week in connection with an attempted homicide and robbery in a trailer in Milton.
Joshua Jaquan Shields, 21, of Milton, Deontrace Levell Bonner, 22, of Pensacola and Kristopher Talacy Brown, 19, of Pensacola have been charged with attempted homicide and other felony charges.
At roughly 9 p.m. July 19, deputies arrived at 6461 Sunny Acres Court in Milton after being advised that an adult male at the residence had been shot according to a sheriff’s office press release.
After arrival, deputies found the victim injured but responsive. He had sustained injuries to his ear, neck and shoulder after Brown allegedly shot him with a shot gun. The victim was transported to Sacred Heart Hospital and is likely to sustain permanent disfigurement from his injuries according to Santa Rosa Sheriff’s office reports.
According to arrest reports, the three men entered the home armed with firearms and wearing masks. They threatened the residents of the home, shot one victim and then left
with a designer purse valued at $398.
During the course of the investigation, the three suspects were developed and warrants were issued for their arrest.
Shields was arrested July 27, and the other two men were taken into July 30 with the assistance of U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force.
All three men are charged with second degree felony attempted murder, two counts of third degree felony aggravated assault with a weapon, third degree felony grand theft and first degree felony armed robbery.
Shields and Bonner are currently in the Santa Rosa County Jail on $372,500 bond each. Brown is currently in Escambia County Jail on hold without bond.
