Keanu Medina, the 19-year-old Navarre man who police said crashed his Chevrolet Tahoe into a Jeep Liberty, killing the driver, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of DUI manslaughter.
According to the report, Medina was traveling eastbound on Highway 98 at about 5:25 p.m. July 7 when he crossed a raised concrete median and entered the westbound lanes. The front left of his car struck the front of Gregory Winter’s car, who was driving westbound. Police said Medina’s blood alcohol level was 0.146.
Winter died Aug. 16 as a result of his injuries.
