Changes are underway at Holley-Navarre Water System (HNWS), and newly named administrators are adjusting to their new roles.
After longtime general manager Ken Walker retired March 30, Paul Gardner, who has worked for HNWS for nearly three decades, assumed leadership of the water system.
Additionally, the HNWS board member brought on Bill Sublett to serve as executive director, a new position.
Sublett, who attended his first board meeting April 21, will oversee all functions of the organization, including the water system and operations at The Club at Hidden Creek.
Board member Charles Enghauser also announced his retirement from the HNWS board via letter April 21. Some board members discussed not filling his vacated seat until the utility’s next official election.
