The victim of an overnight stabbing in Navarre is reported to be in critical condition.
Santa Rosa Sheriff’s Office reports that at 3:45 a.m. deputies responded to a domestic incident at the 9100 block of Eagle Nest Drive in Navarre. 9-1-1 dispatchers advised there was one male who was stabbed and the suspect was still on scene.
Upon arrival, the suspect, 25-year-old Brandon Lee Johnson, was seen exiting the home and quickly taken into custody without incident. He was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, a second degree felony. He remains in the Santa Rosa County jail without bond.
Deputies, Fire and EMS entered the home and found the victim lying on the floor with multiple stab wounds. The male victim was transported via Lifeguard Air Ambulance to a local area hospital where he is undergoing surgery at this time.
