The National Weather Service is reporting a hazardous weather outlook for Northwest Florida and parts of southern Alabama and Mississippi. The forecast calls for widespread showers and thunderstorms ahead of an approaching cold front expected to roll in on Tuesday. A few storms could become severe, particularly Tuesday, with damaging winds and the possibility of isolated tornadoes.
The NWS also warns of a moderate risk for dangerous rip currents along the beaches through tonight.
Fog is also expected throughout Monday and into Tuesday morning.
