The battle of protecting the elderly against crime is ongoing, but the fight has been aided in a major way by the Seniors vs. Crime office in Navarre.
Seniors vs. Crime is a special project of the Florida Attorney General’s office and has been in existence since 1989. The Navarre office, one of four in the Panhandle, is in its 12th year and under the direction of Judy Ertl.
Ertl started out as the manager of the office and was the deputy regional director for four years before taking the director position in March.
