Schools fight bullying

He was a junior at Navarre High School. A member of the JROTC. He was described as happy, funny and friendly. Most who knew him said it seemed like everything was normal.

But everything was not normal for Rowen Cabanlong. And by all accounts, he held his feelings inside to the last minute of his life. June 1, Rowen committed suicide.

In the letter he left for his mother, Jennifer Abiva, Rowen left no explanation to the burning question: why?
