In a press release issued by Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, Public Information Officer Rich Aloy announced that a Santa Rosa deputy has been arrested.
Detention Deputy Sgt. Ovando Vincente Blankenship was arrested and charged by Sheriff’s Office Detectives today after reviewing an incident which occurred on April 21.
In that incident, according to the release, a juvenile was arrested and brought to the facility for processing. He was to be processed and taken to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Pensacola.
