Three persons were arrested Wednesday after police responded to a series of vehicle burglaries, according to a Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office report.
According to police, Sean Alexander Banks, 19 and Parker Tray Ragsdale, 18, have each been charged with three counts of burglary, three counts of possession of burglary tools and three counts of larceny.
In addition, a runaway juvenile found at their apartment was arrested and charged with dealing in stolen property, theft of a hand gun and possession of narcotics and paraphernalia.
According to the report, deputies responded to several vehicle burglaries early Wednesday morning in the area of Verano and Mercado Streets in Navarre.
Police also responded to a suspicious person complaint in the 2300 block of Avenida del Sol around 4 a.m. Wednesday. A deputy spotted Banks and Ragsdale, who matched the description provided by a witness.
A search of the two men revealed a back pack with a fixed blade knife and sheath, two women’s rings, two bandanas, a zip lock bag with change, and a bottle of vape juice.
A search warrant was executed at Banks’ and Ragsdale’s Cayo Grande apartment. There, deputies located a runaway juvenile and multiple hand guns. In addition, police found numerous electronics, ammo and narcotics, the report stated.
Banks is currently being held in the Santa Rosa County Jail on no bond. Ragsdale is being held on an $11,000 bond.
