Surrounded by famed U.S. Navy Seal Marcus Luttrell and his twin brother, Morgan, former Texas governor Rick Perry today announced his second Presidential bid — just weeks after testing campaign waters in Navarre.
Marcus Luttrell authored “Lone Survivor,” which became hit movie. Perry in his speech referred to the Texas native as a “second son.”
Joining the Luttrell twins in support of Perry was Chris Kyle’s widow, Tara. Kyle was epitomized in Clint Eastwood’s blockbuster smash “American Sniper.”
During his May 13 invitation-only stump speech in Navarre Perry said the better treatment of veterans was a key factor in his decision to consider a second Presidential campaign.
