New year brings changes to pier restaurant

Stephanie Maddox, general manager of Coastal Concessions, is excited about a new menu being offered at Lagerhead’s, the restaurant and bar at Navarre Beach Fishing Pier.  Maddox is also proud of the establishment’s new head chef, Mike Crawford.

An experienced chef and former kitchen manager at Hog’s Breath Saloon and Harbor Docks in Destin, Crawford has been working with Coastal Concessions, operators of the pier and Lagerhead’s to revamp the restaurant’s menu, which now includes surf and turf selections, such as ribeyes, fried oysters, shrimp and fish.
