Santa Rosa School District has the land for two new schools in Pace. Now it needs the roads to reach them, but that might be unpalatable to some neighbors.
School district officials approached the Board of County Commissioners Monday during its regular meeting asking for reassurances that if the district finalizes the pending purchase of 63 acres off Woodbine Road, the county would allow creation of a new road access across an existing county retention pond.
