Navarre man killed in crash

A 43-year-old Navarre man died Friday evening after he collided with a car attempting to cross Highway 98 in Okaloosa County.

Anthony St. Clair Sealy Jr. was driving his 2007 Suzuki GXS-R600 east on Highway 98 at about 6 p.m. Shanon Midling, 25, also of Navarre, was traveling north on Tommy Lane. According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Midling stopped at the intersection of Tommy Lane and Highway 98 before pulling out and attempting to cross the eastbound lane of Highway 98. Midling drove into Sealy’s path, and his motorcycle struck the left side of her 2013 Dodge Avenger.

Sealy was transported to Fort Walton Medical Center where he later died.

Sealy was wearing a helmet, according to the report. Midling did not sustain any injuries.

Traffic homicide investigators are investigating the accident.
