A Fort Walton man wanted in Georgia is facing multiple charges after deputies responded Feb. 16 to a disturbance at Murphy’s Gas Station on Highway 98 in Navarre.
Rene Molina, 32, was arrested on charges of disorderly intoxication; disorderly intoxication – public place, causing disturbance; possession of marijuana; and drug equipment possession and/or use
Police said three individuals arrived
at the gas station and gave the clerk $10 for fuel. The individuals pumped $34.85 worth of fuel. Police said they entered the store and started yelling at the clerk and customers.
According to the report, Molina fled the store before police arrived. Deputies, who located him inside Wal-Mart, determined that he had an active warrant out of Gwinnett County Georgia for escape.
He is being held on $5,000 bond at Santa Rosa County Jail.
