For the second time in five months, Lauren Wyatt West, a Holley- Navarre Middle School teacher, was arrested on a first degree misdemeanor charge of battery.
The Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s report from Sept. 5 states that the vehicle West was traveling in was pulled over after a complaint was made that it was seen swerving on the road, and that the female passenger, later identified as West, was hitting the male driver.
Earlier this year, in April, West was arrested on a first degree misdemeanor charge of battery stemming from a similar incident involving an alleged physical altercation at her Navarre Beach apartment.
